Sir Syed Ahmed Khan was born on 17 October 1817 in Delhi. He was Muslim Educator jurist ,author and founder of the ALIGARH MUSLIM UNVERSITY .Sir Syed works , in Urdu include Essay on the Life MOHAMMED (1870) and Commmentaries on the BIBLE and on the QUARN . In 1888 He was made a Knigh Commander of the INDIA . He was a Islamic Reformer , Philosopher and Eduactionist in 19th century . Sir Syed Ahmed Khan started his career as a civil servant.
Sir Syed Ahmed Khan contributed many essential elements to the development of the modern society of the sub continent. During Sir Syed,s ownlifetime. The Englishman ,a renowned British Manazine on the 19th century remarked in the commentary on 17 november 1885 . Sir Syed LIfe “ strinkingly illustarated one of the best phases of modern history . He died on 27 march 1898 and lies buried next to the main Mosque at AMU.
